Until about 1978 all railroads used Ice to kept food cold, these icing platforms were very common all over the country.
\nThe base set can be as long as 12 inches and has several ways to configure it on the layout.<\/p>\n
This is an expandable set that starts with this base set that includes:<\/p>\n
2 platform sections<\/p>\n
1 ice house\u00a0 and office<\/p>\n
2 stairs<\/p>\n
These Icing Station Set are 3D resin printed, high detail models. But as resin is delicate, if they do break all you have to do is use thick super glue to put them together again – but I’m sure you already know that being an hobbiest like you are!
\nThese may come on printing sprues, shipping sprues, or already apart.
\nTo help remove printing sprues wash part under hot water to warm it up.
\nThe sprues are the smallest connecting points on the model and will break off easy, especially when warmed up.
\nThese are not painted but are ready to paint models.
\nAll of these models are cured before being shipped, in rare cases a model may arrive with some residue on it. It is not uncured resin but dirty alcohol wash residue and can be washed off in warm soapy water.<\/p>\n
We do combine shipping, ask us for a discount if it does not do it automatically.

We try to pack really well and generally as follows.
\nSmall pieces are shipped in a bubble wrapped envelope if the part is solid enough to not be smashed.
\nLarger order or pieces with fragile parts will be in a small box inside a bubble wrap envelope.
