Description
Fine details to add interest to your freight train with these HO-Scale Crossing/Signal tower Tower!
N-Scale Gate Tower
This set comes with
The 2 piece tower, with a coal stove inside.
A desk and a chair to model the interior of the tower with.
A coal bin with a shovel and an ax on it
And a stack of wood that would have been used to start the coal fire with.
A gate tower was used at busy road crossings before any kind of automation was available so a operator could manually open and close the road gates when a train came by. There are a few examples saved across the country but most of these were no longer used after around the 1940s. This adds a point of interest on old railroads and can fit in on new railroads as a saved railroad structure no longer in use.
These N-Scale Gate Tower are 3D resin printed, high detail models. But as resin is delicate, if they do break all you have to do is use thick super glue to put them together again – but I’m sure you already know that being an hobbiest like you are!
These may come on printing sprues, shipping sprues, or already apart.
To help remove printing sprues wash part under hot water to warm it up.
The sprues are the smallest connecting points on the model and will break off easy, especially when warmed up.
These are not painted but are ready to paint models.
All of these models are cured before being shipped, in rare cases a model may arrive with some residue on it. It is not uncured resin but dirty alcohol wash residue and can be washed off in warm soapy water.
